I had planned for some time to go to IKEA and get something nice for my room, especially my first Detolf. Yesterday I finally went to IKEA in Padova (Italy), which is located about 40kms from my house. Here the day's loot:
- 1x DETOLF Glass-door cabinet (black-brown) - [ 49,95 € ]
- 1x GRUNDTAL Spotlight 3 pieces (nickel-plated) - [ 24,95 € ]
- 1x KVART Wall/ clamp spotlight (black) - [ 4,99 € ]
- 1x SPARSAM Low-energy bulb E27 - [ 5,99 € ]
- 1x NYTTJA Frame - [ 7,99 € ]
- Total [ 93,87 € ]
These are all things that I needed, we now see in detail.
The cabinet is a must for all kind of collectors who want to protect and highlight the own collection. The Detolf IKEA has become famous for its quality / price ratio (as almost all products IKEA) and his little size. So I decided to buy one.
Here some pictures of the assembly assisted by Yoshika ^^
> Here the pack, pay attention because it's very heavy. Notice the symbol that warns you to don't open with sharp objects that could ruin the interior. The tape can be easily removed with your hands.
> Just opened the box we immediately can see the support of our Detolf.
> Here the instructions, the bases of wood, glass and everything you need.
> The assembly is very simple if you follow the instructions that are very clear.
> The first phase is done. Here you see the upper base (you can notate from the hole for lighting) that then it should be overturned. The assembly required 2 adults.
> Done! I'm sorry that I don't have pictures of all the steps but I was too concentrate ^^''
> For lighting it i bought the GRUNDTAL spotlight. I know about the heat, but the distance from the figures is enough, then the light is much more beautiful than that of leds imho. I tried to fix it with tape but I failed, so I used screws as they say in the instructions.
> Inaugurated in the best way with the Saber Lily - Distant Avalon of my Birthday Loot.
> Here the KVART spotlight with clamp. Now also the right side of the desk is well lit. In anticipation of putting the shelves for other figures.
> Finally I used the NYTTJA Frame for the poster of Nanoha 1st Movie that I found in the Megami Magazine #117. Kawaii!
That's all, i hope it is helpfull for all of you that will go to ikea to find something usefull.
